Ciudad Glitch is a video mapping event that explores the paradoxes of the contemporary city: its social and urban development, and the complex relationship with its inhabitants, neighbors, and passersby. Through the lens of current audiovisual language, the project reflects on Valencia’s urban fabric and how technology can reveal the tensions of modern life.
The project consists of five collective audiovisual pieces specifically designed to interact with the architecture of the Gothic cloister at the Centre del Carme. The intervention uses the arches, pillars, and columns of this historic space to create a visual dialogue between past heritage and present cultural agitation.
Ciudad Glitch was created specifically for the cloister of the Centre del Carme by students of the City and Activism course from the AVM Master’s program at UPV.
